As Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) is Central Public Sector Undertakings (CPSUs) company. Sail is Indian Government enterprise company do not have pay commission for such public sector companies. Sail will get separate PRC to increase salary after 10 years of interval which will effect after 1 year of Central direct government offices. As Rail is getting pay commission and it is effective from January 01, 2016. But for CPSUs company pay revision will be effective from one year later or January 01, 2017. sail 3rd pay revision most awaiting news. IDA is increased from 01 July 2017 by 1.9 percent of Basic pay.

DPE or Department of Public Enterprise all Indian Government Undertaking enterprise are in same category which all will be effective by PRC pay revision committee. PRC is formed by Indian government PRC is touched with Central pay commission committee for better salary improvement for employees.  CPSEs or central public sector enterprises is standalone from direct central government employees.
